One of the most common questions I receive from newlyweds is the following: How much do wedding invitation cost? In fact, this very general question can not be answered immediately, but with a few more facts we can quickly find the cost of your wedding stationery. Which frame points are important for determining the budget for your wedding cards, you will learn in this post.
There are a number of factors in stationery design that affect pricing. These are primarily the design of the cards, the format, the page sizes, the paper type and ultimately the number of pieces.
How can we influence the cost of our wedding reception?

Option 2
Alternatively, already existing wedding designs from my portfolio can be adapted to you and your wishes, e.g. other colors are chosen. Here, the effort compared to the individual stationery design is significantly lower and the costs are correspondingly lower. So if you like a design already, just let me know and we'll discuss the possible adjustments.
Option 3
The third variant is the adoption of an existing design without making any changes. Since there is no work required for the revision of the basic design, this is the cheapest option for determining your wedding design. You are welcome to tell me your wishes for your wedding paper and I propose you possible matching stationery designs that have already been created.
The format of your wedding invitation
Determining the format - in other words the dimensions - of your wedding invitation is also accompanied by the determination of forms, page numbers and the execution of the card. The possibilities of the card formats are virtually unlimited here.
One rule is, the larger your cards are and the more pages or sheets they consist of, the more layout effort is required and the higher the manufacturing costs are. Which format is the right choice for your wedding invitations does not just depend on how much you want to invest. Of course, all the information your guests need for your wedding day should fit in and the overall impression of the wedding invitation fits the concept.
In addition to the desired appearance of your wedding invitation, the postage and the resulting postage costs can still play a crucial role in the decision-making process. Because also the chosen card format and even the color of the envelopes have an influence on this.

Why does the quantity play a role in pricing?
If all the above-mentioned specifications have been made for your wedding invitations, the desired number of pieces will still be needed to calculate the costs. This information has no effect on the costs for the layout, but very clearly on the production costs. The manufacturing processes have certain basic costs, e.g. for the machine setup. These costs always arise - regardless of the desired quantity.
Thus, with a higher number of invitation cards, these basic costs are more evenly distributed and unit prices decrease. Quantity-dependent costs are then the material and accessory consumption. The total cost of these areas will then be the final price for making your wedding wallpaper. Of course, if the quantities change during the planning phase, that is no problem at all. As long as the invitations or other paperwork is not yet in print, such adjustments are possible at any time.
